Collection will be refused and the bin will remain on site.
The Customer will be responsible for the full cost of disposal of the prohibited items, which will be invoiced separately at cost plus an administrative fee.
The Customer must arrange for the safe and legal removal of the prohibited items before collection can be rescheduled. A return trip fee may apply.
If the bin is contaminated with hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals), the Customer will be liable for all costs associated with the specialist cleanup, disposal, and decontamination of the bin and transport vehicle, which may be significant.
5. Loading the Bin (The Wheeler Way)
Do Not Overfill: The bin must not be overfilled. Load must be level and not exceed the top of the bin walls. No heaping. For safety during transport, any overloaded bin will not be collected until the load is reduced to a safe level. A waiting fee may apply.
Weight Limits: Weight limits apply to all bins. Excessive weight (e.g., from very dense materials like concrete) may result in additional fees if it exceeds the bin's rated capacity.
6. Placement and Access
The Customer is responsible for ensuring a safe, firm, and legal placement area for the bin (e.g., driveway, nature strip with appropriate permit).
The Customer must ensure clear and safe access for our delivery and collection vehicles (including height and width clearance).
The Customer is liable for any damage to the surface on which the bin is placed (e.g., driveway cracking, lawn damage). We recommend placing timber planks under the bin's supports to distribute weight.
7. Rental Period
8. Liability
Wheeler Skip Bins will not be liable for any damage to property (e.g., walls, fences, overhanging trees) during delivery or collection if the Customer has not ensured adequate clearance and a safe placement area.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring the bin is used safely and is liable for any injury or damage caused by the bin or its contents while on their property.
9. Council Permits
If the bin is to be placed on public land (e.g., a road, footpath, nature strip), it is the Customer's responsibility to obtain any necessary permits from the local council. Wheeler Skip Bins can assist with this process for an additional fee if arranged at the time of booking.
By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Wheeler Skip Bins Terms and Conditions.
