These Terms & Conditions apply to all skip bin hire services provided by Wheeler Skip Bins. By Making a booking, accepting delivery of a skip bin or placing waste into a Wheeler Skip Bin, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Skip Bin Hire Period:
The Standard Wheeler Skip Bins hire period is 7 DAYS. Unless otherwise agreed with Wheeler Skip Bins prior to delivery, all bins are hired for a maximum period of 7 days.
The hire period commences from the date the bin is delivered. If you require the bin for longer than 7 days, you must contact Wheeler Skip Bins
before the agreed collection date. Extended hire is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Payment:
All skip bins must be paid in full before pick up.
Selecting the correct bin size:
The customer is responsible for selecting a skip bin size suitable for their project and the amount of waste they intend to dispose of.
Bin Capacity:
DO NOT FILL ABOVE RIM!
All waste must remain level with or below the top of the skip bin.
Nothing may protrude above the rim or sides of the bin. An overfilled bin may be refused on collection until the excess material has been removed. Additional costs may be incurred where an overfilled bin requires an additional trip or waiting time.
This requirement is in place to ensure the bin can be transported safely and in accordance with applicable transport and safety requirements.
Prohibited waste:
The following materials are strictly prohibited from Wheeler Skip Bins.
Strictly no:
Customers are responsible for checking their waste before palcing it into the bin.
if you are unsure whether a particular material can be placed in the bin, contact Wheeler Skip Bins before disposing of it.
Additional Fees:
Certain materials incur additional disposal costs.
Mattresses, an additional fee applies to each mattress placed in the bin.
Tyres, an additional fee applies to each Tyres placed in the bin.
Tree Stumps, an additional fee applies to each stump placed in the bin.
Council approvals and permits:
Where a skip bin is required to be placed on a public road, nature strip, footpath, council land or another public area , the customer is responsible for determining whether a council permit or other approval is required.
Council approval/ permit is the responsibility of the customer.
The customer must obtain any required permit before the skip bin is delivered.
Bin Placement:
Skip bins must be placed in a suitable and safe location. The customer must ensure there is sufficient space for the delivery vehicle to safely deliver and collect the bin.
Customers must advise Wheeler Skip Bins of any potential hazards, including, narrow access, low branches, overhead power lines, gates, underground services and other obstacles.
Only authorised persons may move or remove bin!
Only Wheeler Skip bins or it representatives may move, relocate or remove a skip bin.
Customers, contractors, neighbours, tradespeople or other persons must not move, drag, lift, relocate or remove a Wheeler Skip Bin bin.
LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, Wheeler Skip Bins is not responsible for loss, damage or injury arising from:
Incorrect use of the skip bin
Unsafe loading
Overfilling
Prohibited materials
Failure to obtain required permits
Unsuitable placement locations
Unsafe access
Unauthorised movement of the bin
Customer negligence
Information incorrectly provided by the customer
Conditions outside Wheeler Skip Bins’ reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian law.
ACCEPTANCE
By booking, accepting delivery of or using a Wheeler Skip Bins skip bin, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
